constant value

A constant value is a value usually referred to within an operation or as parameter in a function call. In the area of ODABA and most programming languages, constant values are either Boolean, numerical or string values.

Constant values may also appear as complex values. The type of complex constants usually result from the operation context or is defined as ad-hoc type.
