pointer reference

Pointer references are references, which refer to an instance in memory by means of an internal memory (main storage) address. Pointer references are stored in a 32 or 64 bit area depending on the platform the system is running on.

Pointer references can be defined as transient members or in transient structures, only. Theoretically, one may define pointer on any level, but practically, the pointer level in ODABA is limited to 3.
