union relation
The union (or complete) relation between a set and a number of subsets indicates, that the set is exactly the union of its subsets.
Union relations for controlled extents are maintained automatically, which means, that one cannot create an instance in a union extent. Instances have to be created in the subset extents instead, and are automatically added to the union extent.
