Service Classes

Service classes are provided especially for supporting OSI applications. Service classes are provided for different kind of file access (text, binary, xml, mp3, zip, ini), internet protocol and email communication or BNF parser functionality. Service classes are not yet supported for .NET applications. Service classes will be extended on demand and are not considered as part of the ODABA database software.

Special support has also been provided for accessing file system directories, but this is not implemented in a service class but as access method to external resources.
