Simple operand
A simple operand is either
- an OSI select statement
- an access path, which includes a simple variable
- a conditional operation
- a block of statements, which is enclosed in '{}'
- a single operand, which is enclosed in parenthesis '()'
- a constant (numerical or character)
- a system variable
OSI select statements can be expressed more comfortable as operation path and are supported for compatibility reasons, only.
