Accessing external resources

ODABA supports several methods for processing external resources by means of property handles. Typically, external files of different types may be accessed:

text files (XML, ESDF or OIF)
binary files
directories

Direct access to relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, ORACLE) is not supported any longer.
