Running ODABA tools and services
ODABA programs and libraries need not to register. They are just moved to a folder and started. Databases will be created on demand, when not yet existing. Databases appear as single or multiple files, which easily can be copied or moved to other locations.
Running ODABA applications is controlled mainly by means of options, which might be set in different ways. Thus, preparing a configuration or ini-file containing option settings to be used, is required usually before starting an application. Application calls refer to such a configuration or ini-file usually passed as parameter to the program call.
Besides options, applications may be controlled by user communication (SystemIO), i.e. submitting application messages to the user and receiving user input.
