global_identity - GUID Option

This option indicates, that global unique identifiers (GUID) are to be generated for instances. The guid option is an ODABA specific extension.

This option can be set for collections (references, relationships or extents) in order to generate global identities for instances stored in the collection. The collection's data type must inherit from __OBJECT in order to support this feature (TypeDefinition::isOdabaObject())..

The feature does not influences the database consistency and can be changed at any time.
