generalisations - Generalizations of the Term
A term may have one or more generalizations, which are expressed in a term hierarchy. Generalizations can be found by checking the IS A relationship. Usually a term G is a generalization of another term T as far as it is possible to say "each T is a G". In this sense the term "person" is a generalization of the term "female person" because each "female person" is a "person".
