Synonyms are other terms having nearly the same meaning as the referenced term. Several synonyms can be defined for a concept. Because synonyms are language depending the set of synonyms depends on the language, too.

A synonym depends on its reference term, i.e. removing the term means removing all its synonyms (for all languages).
