id - Reference ID

The reference identification is a unique string, which is used in documents to refer to this documents, e.g. run99.1. Usually, document references are displayed in brackets like [run99.1]. Identifier are limited to 10 characters. Since documents might be references in different places, reference ids must be unique.

It is suggested to use an acronym for the author, publishing year (and number, if necessary).
