Each synonym refers to exactly one concept. The concept should have nearly the same meaning as the synonym. To avoid confusion, a synonym should not have other synonyms, i.e. it is not possible to assign synonyms to synonyms.

A synonym depends on its concept, i.e. removing a concept includes removing all its synonyms.
