Applications

Applications are sort of examples that demonstrate the way ODABA applications may work. Applications are provided by RUN Software, but also by other authors. There is no warranty that applications work without errors. Since applications are provided containing all resources to run them, but also to change and develop them further on, everybody may use or change applications published on this site without any limitations.

In order to make using applications as simple as possible, most applications are implemented using OSI Script language, i.e. when ODABA has been installed, one just has to load the application resource database (which contains all application resources) and run the application. By changing OSI functions and design using ODE tools, one may play with the features and check different effects.

• Message Browser

  Message Browser is an OSI application that displays messages from the error protocol and adds explanatory description.

• OMedia

  OMedia is an OSI application, which provides a media catalog ordered by different categories. OMedia allows playing audio and video streams. In order to run OMedia, Phonon (available as Qt plugin) and the ODABA media plugin (user control) have to be installed.
