Demos and examples

Demos and examples may be used for implementing different features. Demos and examples are provided by RUN Software, but also by other authors. There is no warranty that demos and examples are free of errors.

Demos and examples are supposed to work, but not to fulfill all requirements of a specific area.

• Word helper library (.NET) - download

  The demo provides a wrapper library for supporting VB Script macros in MS Office (Word) applications.

• Document templates

  The file contains several document templates for creating Open Document or MS Office documents. The file also includes the ODABA SampleTemplate, which illustrates how to write Open Document templates. Moreover, the file contains a style template (OSI-DocumentTemplate.ott), which might be used for creating Open Document templates with LibreOffice. Since Open Document templates require some special paragraph, list and image styles, it is suggested either to copy the Sample template or to use the style template for creating other Open Document templates.

  Several templates for creating standard documents as class references or topic documentations are provided as well in order to demonstrate different principles for generating documents from database content.

• Generate terminology model

  The MS Office word template provides a MS Word macro (VB Script) for generating the documentation for a terminology model provided in Terminus. It is intended to be an example, which might be modified for specific purposes.
