ODABA is the name that embraces these technologies and tools, theories and methods.

Transparency counts. Here, nothing is hidden, every piece and bit is available on-line. More than 1 million lines of code are detailed documented on more than 7000 Web sites in two Web documentation tree. You will find the complete database documentation (system data types, API, utilities etc.) also on several thousands pages of documentation, which you may download from our download site. Of course, the complete source code is available as well.

Thus, ODABA is one of the larger Open Source projects, may be comparable with MySQL, OpenOffice or Eclipse. Documentation and source code has been published at sourceforge.net/odaba and you are invited to devise the future of ODABA together with us.

The Web presentation has some limitations, which you should know. Web sites are optimized for Mozilla Firefox and may look a bit strange in MS Internet Explorer. This sites do also not contain advertisements or useles graphics, but pure information, only. In order to increase accessibility, systematic documentation is accessible via Web documentation treew.   Documentation is an essential part in ODABA development, and, documentation is something, that is never finished. We provide documentation on many different places. Thus, you will find e.g. function descriptions in source code, in the documentation Web tree, in different document types (.doc., .pdf, .odt) and in on-line help.

• Software releases

  Software releases are anounced few weeks before new release of the software is planned. This allows you to check features of new software releases in advance.

• Downloads

  Downloads are hosted by sourceforge. ODABA might be downloaded as source code package, but also in binary form. A separate documentation package is available.

• Products

  A number of applications have proven the power of ODABA. Here, the most interesting ones are shortly mentioned. Moreover, you will find links to appropriate download sites.
