ESDF file

An ESDF file is an ODABA specific extension of the "self delimiter file" or "comma separated values" (CSV) format for data exchange. Data in an ESDF is identified by position and specific field and instance delimiters.

In contrast to CSV, ESDF allows exchanging complex data types but also referenced instances and collections of instances.
