Technical features

ODABA provides a number of extended features for running a database. Most of these features can be activated independent on each other.

• Storage formats - besides the ODABA storage, the database may be stored in XML text format, in a relational database (ORACLE. MS SQL or MySQL). XML and relational database format have been provided for research reasons (in order to prove the equivalence of data models) and are not really tested in practice. Moreover, these formats do not support most extended features.
