Date - Date value
ODABA supports date values stored as integer number of days after 01.01.1870. In order to convert ODABA date values to other date formats, the class provides several conversion functions.
ODABA date values have to be interpreted by the application, i.e. ODABA does not request specific date values (as UTC or local date). In order to support conversion to standard date formats, the class provides conversion functions to standard Unix timestamp, which provides the number of seconds since 1970-01-01 00:00:00. Still, it is up to the application interpreting the timestamp value as local or standard time value.
